Self-taught sax player, Piero later studied with G. Baiocco and M. Caldura. Shortly after he begun playing with various musicians and groups from your local area. In 1990, moved to New York to receive classes at the New School of Music with Jim Snidero, K. McIntyre, H. Galper, Kenny Werner and J. Brackeen. He also attended seminars and master classes with Joe Henderson and Kenny Wheeler. Piero also has performed at major jazz festivals in Italy, France, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia and Austria and collaborated with musicians such as as Lee Konitz, J. Walrath, T. Scott, Claudio Roditti, Enrico Rava, Paolo Fresu, S. Gut and G. Basso.
