Professional musician, drummer, percussionist and teacher under graduated by the Universidade de Brasília, Pedrinho Augusto was born in Brasília (Brazil), where he began his studies at the age of ten. His versatility and musicianship are confirmed by the diversity of artists that he has been the pleasure to work with, such as Dominguinhos, Sandra de Sá, Thiago Espírito Santo, Ellen Olléria and Pedro Martins among many others. One of the most demanding drummers from the Brasília new generation, he is now living in the USA undertaking the Graduate Music Degree Program of Music-Performance with Concentration in Jazz Performance, at the University of Louisville, KY.
